It is also important to notice among the regular envelopes, one different envelop labeled "Archdiocese Dues". As these dues are now raised to $35.00 for each baptized soul in your family, a separate envelop will be inserted every three months with your regular envelopes package for your convenience. This may allow you to pay the total Archdiocese dues in one more that one installment spread over throughout the year.

Announcement: Dear Parishioners and Friends - We are adding a new feature to our Sunday Bulletin. If you have any questions about our Faith or Church, please write it down and put it in the Sunday Collection Tray and it will be answered the following Sunday, either during the sermon or in the bulletin.

Why an Orthodox Priest cannot celebrate two Liturgies the same day? Because the Liturgy is for the church community, which is one through Christ. It is the oneness aspect which keeps the church together. One Christ, one Liturgy. The Liturgical day begins at sunset the day before. For example: Sunday begins on Saturday evening. This is why when we celebrate an evening Liturgy on Tuesday, we cannot celebrate another Liturgy on Wednesday morning unless there are two priests serving on two separate altars.

Why an Orthodox Priest cannot give Communion to Non-Orthodox? The church unity must be acknowledged and respected. Is Christ divided? NO. The church is, because people are. This is not acceptable. The Orthodox Church seeks unity for the church. People cannot believe whatever they want and come for communion. Even if someone believes that it is the body and blood of Christ, but does not believe in the Virgin birth one cannot receive communion. Because different people have different beliefs, the church remains divided and sharing the same chalice is incorrect, because it gives a stamp of approval to Fragmentation and indifference to the teaching of Christ. One Christ, One Church, One Faith. "With the fear of God, faith and love, draw near." The Liturgy of St, John Chrysostom.
